Asset Allocation Options
Take a more active role by choosing from four multi-fund investment options.
Each portfolio invests in underlying funds and focuses on a single investment strategy or asset class. These options let you choose your own mix of equity and fixed income, and active or index-based allocations. The risk profile of each option will be fixed over time, and you can update your investing strategy on your own according to your preferences and savings horizon.1
1Current federal law permits you to move the assets in your KY Saves 529 account to a different mix of investment options twice per calendar year.

You also may wish to contact directly your home state’s 529 college savings plan(s), or any other 529 plan, to learn more about those plans’ features, benefits, and limitations. You should also consult your financial, tax, or other advisor to learn more about how state-based benefits (or any limitations) would apply to your specific circumstances.
